Overview

Two days and one night, priced for 2 persons. Day one is Jaisalmer’s fort, havelis and lake, then the dunes: camel and jeep safaris, a bonfire with folk music and a night in an AC tent at a desert camp. On day two you head west to Tanot Mata temple, the Indo-Pak border and Longewala before the drop back into the city.

Tanot and Longewala are close to the border: carry a valid photo ID, which is checked more than once, and tell us in advance if anyone travelling is a foreign national, so the paperwork can be arranged where it applies.

Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day 1: City, then the dunes

    Pickup from your station, airport or hotel, then Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon Ki Haveli and Gadisar Lake. Transfer to the desert camp for a Rajasthani welcome with evening tea and snacks, a camel safari on the dunes and a jeep safari, then a bonfire with folk music and dance. Dinner, and a night in an AC tent.

  2. Day 2: West to the border

    Breakfast at the camp, then on to Tanot Mata temple and the Indo-Pak border, and the Longewala museum and war memorial, before the drop back into the city.

Desert Camp & Cultural Experience starts from ₹1,800 per person. Jaisalmer in a Day starts from ₹2,499 per trip. Our other day trips are priced per trip, on request.
